TOP TEACHER
Chosen from 153 nominations, Maria Campodonico, a teacher at West Toronto Collegiate, is the recipient of the inaugural Toronto Star Teacher Award. The 40-year-old is a mentor, social worker, mother and friend to teens at the school. Read our profile of Maria Campodonico and see the video here.
HONOURABLE MENTIONS
